וְאִ֗ישׁ מָשַׁ֤ךְ בַּקֶּ֙שֶׁת֙ לְתֻמּ֔וֹ וַיַּךְ֙ אֶת־מֶ֣לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בֵּ֥ין הַדְּבָקִ֖ים וּבֵ֣ין הַשִּׁרְיָ֑ן וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לָֽרַכָּ֗ב הֲפֹ֧ךְ ידיך [יָדְךָ֛] וְהוֹצֵאתַ֥נִי מִן־הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה כִּ֥י הָחֳלֵֽיתִי׃
A pewien człowiek wyciągnął łuk na przedsięwzięcie i uderzył króla Izraela między niższą zbroję a napierśnik; dlatego powiedział do kierowcy rydwanu:'Odwróć rękę i wynieś mnie z wojska; bo jestem bardzo ranny.'
